Well, 50% isn’t too bad…
England are out. Deservedly, and their antics off the field may well have affected their lacklustre campaign, but all credit to the French.
Awesome nudge from the Welsh too, beating an experienced Irish outfit with class defending.
It was not to be a last hurrah for the Springboks, with 4 or 5 of their 2007 winning team calling it a day. It sets up an all too frequent meeting of the All Blacks and the Wallabies.
SO, semi final predictions.
Wales vs France. Have France got the bit between their teeth now? I don’t think they have enough to crack the Welsh after such an inconsistent effort so far.
Prediction- Wales. PLEASE WALES!!!!!
Australia vs New Zealand. With Beale maybe out and Cooper waining, the increasingly makeshift NZ five-eighth combination might have an easier ride than expected. Fortress Eden should be loud and the kiwi pack should be strong enough.
Prediction- New Zealand. PLEASE NEW ZEALAND!!!!!!!!
I saw Wales vs. New Zealand in Cardiff last year just before I came to Japan, so for it to be the RWC final would be amazing!
One response to “And then there were four…”
When are the games on, Jon? I’m busy in the afternoons next weekend, but my nights are free. Email me if you’d like to catch up in Numazu.
