So, all (both) of the people I know in Tokyo were busy this weekend, so I stayed in Nagaoka. And had an amazing weekend. Did a bit of shopping, some of it was needed, some of it wasn’t. I was on my way home when I saw a large gathering of people at the local park. I went to investigate. there was a summer festival going on, which involved food stalls, performances and most of the town’s population. It was also really cool to see my junior high school students perform.
